Through many years of involvement in all phases of airplane operations, testing, engineering design, and maintenance. HAI has developed a comprehensive and integrated understanding of modern aircraft systems. This makes us uniquely qualified to assist in the engineering, testing, or certification of virtually any aviation-related project. We also provide engineering services for non-aviation-related projects, including testing and expert witness services for litigation support.
HAI provides aviation subject matter expertise and services CONUS and OCONUS. We are experienced in developing, managing, supporting, and executing aviation programs in any environment. We are experienced in ITAR programs requiring a TAA and have personnel ready to deploy on short notice to support critical, must-succeed programs. Capitalizing on this expertise, we apply the same rigorous standards to all aspects of aviation servicing and support.
As part of our Flight Operating Procedures (FOP), we require all flight crews to participate in familiarization training for company, contractual, aircraft, and site requirements prior to being assigned to active status. Our FOP includes an overview of our organization, crew, qualifications, and flight and duty time requirements and guidance for expectations under GFR, flight limitations and considerations for certain weather events, crew/cabin safety, emergency procedures, reporting requirements, and training expectations. Our training program includes initial and recurrent training in company procedures, aircraft type and aircraft systems, and initial training in emergency procedures, aircraft surface contamination, and crew resource management. All pilots must maintain minimum flight currency to ensure proficiency for the aircraft systems they are operating. Additionally, we recognize the Government has specific training requirements for this program.
HAI has supported aircraft modernization training and support in AISR aircraft in support of AMCOM over the last eleven years, including over 10 years under DCMA oversight. HAI provided AISR support for MARSOC at the National Training Center (NTC) in KA-350 AISR aircraft with an MX-15 FM, Claw Workstation, and General Atomics workstation. HAI provided pilot qualification, Mission Operator training, and operational training to over seventy pilots and thirty-five ASO's in KA-35 with a FLIR camera and ITAR FMV in Malaita Turkey. We successfully completed a program providing pilot qualification and ASO training to the Jamacia Defence (STET) Force (JDF).
